It’s the end of this 13 week Journey!

I almost can’t believe it that we are at the end of the year and about to head into 2020.

This past 13 weeks has been quite the journey.

To be fully transparent, I did accomplish much of what I set out to do this year.  I hit many of my targets and some of my goals are still in process and results will be public shortly.

This past 13 weeks wasn’t about hitting goals.  It was about getting my mind right SO THAT I could accomplish my goals.

I am Not confused about NOTHIN

When I started off this Fall Push I wasn’t in the best headspace.  I was frustrated, agitated, and all worked up because I felt like I was confused and I didn’t have a lot of clarity.

I was so worked up I had to start doing Yoga again because I needed to calm my nervous system and it’s now become a regular part of my routine.

In the span of this 13 weeks I can say I did receive clarity and because of that clarity I learned that we don’t need to engage everything that comes our way because it is a distraction.

Sometimes we need to just shut up, sit down, and get out of the way.  If we engage and respond to everything that comes our way, then it may give us short term gratification but not support our long-term goals.

A different way to look at results

Oftentimes when people embark on these types of challenges, they have a very black and white view of their results.  It was either a positive or negative experience solely judged on outcomes.

That’s not where the results truly are.

The results are in the process and not the outcomes.

As I used to tell fat loss clients, you cannot force your body to lose fat at the rate you want it to.  The results are in your strategy and following the process.  If you have the right strategy and follow through with the process, then you will see results.

What you gain from challenges like these are new habits and most importantly new mindsets that will help you to move forward.

2020 Vision

Over the next couple weeks I will be sharing some tools for Vision Casting and Productivity before we head into January!
