If you follow me on Social media, then you may have noticed me talking a lot about #Fall2017. You may be wondering what that is.
I am challenging myself and my clients to end this year strong by setting goals and developing WRITTEN action plans. It’s been really exciting to see so many awesome action plans. I also have a Virtual Mastermind where we work together on our Goals and Develop a Plan of Action step by step.
There’s just something about publicly declaring your goals and sharing with others that adds another layer of motivation!
For my Fitness Fall Sprint 2017, I am doing a modified version of Rachel Cosgrove’s Drop 2 Sizes plan. As you know I am a total fan girl for Rachel.
She is one of the TOP experts in the Fitness Industry when it comes to training women! She does this with sensible nutrition strategies and emphasizing strength and metabolic training. All my favorites.
Now after my experience with Meal Plans, I don’t like rigidity so I substitute if there’s food on the plan that I don’t eat (like a lot of dairy or soy). I’m using some of the recipes I got from the Whole30.
Get out of your Food Rut
One of the reasons I like doing these types of different plans is because I get out of my food rut. I learn a bunch of new recipes and stop eating the same old things.
I’ve already seen a bunch of exciting recipes in this book that I will be trying. Tonight is stuffed Portabello mushrooms!
My Goals
I have a pair of pants that I have not been able to wear in 3 years. Right now I can get them on and they zip but they are still at the stage where I will cut off your circulation if I sit down.
My goal is to get those on comfortably….and to get back into my shorts!
The beauty of this program is that you’re actually not allowed to get on the scale for the entire 8 weeks because it sabotages your progress. This plan is about composition change and not weight loss.
I will be keeping you posted!!
I am going to be leading a small virtual group in January through this challenge but as with everything, I like to put myself through the program first and then lead others!
