Last week I was on edge.
Yeah Yeah I know we are all in this together
I was impatient.
I was annoyed.
I was irritated.
I HAD ENOUGH
I don’t think I’m alone in this because while I was standing in line to get into Sprouts there was an argument that resulted in the police being called and everyone pointing the police to Mr. Big and Bad who had tried to flee in his minivan.
These are unprecedented times and I think everyone has days when they’ve just about had enough.
That’s okay.
As the Old Saying Goes, “What you resist persists.”
It’s okay to admit that some days are worse than others.
It’s okay to admit that you don’t like this time of uncertainty and you may be having trouble coping with all of the changes that are happening now and that are sure to come.
Sometimes we just need to sit with how we’re feeling and get through it. I know that feelings change on the daily so this to shall pass.
Besides that I am well aware of the bigger picture of our health care system not being overwhelmed more than it already is and keeping our neighborhoods and communities safe.
I know that in the grand scheme of things I am very blessed but we all have those days.
My message to you this week is simple: It’s okay to not be alright.
This video summed up how I was feeling last week and I hope you enjoy it as well. Watch all the way until the end. It is worth it
