In March of 2014 I decided to take control of my health and my body. As someone who regularly attended the gym, I wanted to try a new workout routine as what I was working out was not getting me the results I wanted. I decided to try a trial personal training session with Geneva and was immediately hooked!

With regular training sessions with Geneva and a dedication to the training and nutrition program she outlined, I began to see immediate results. Within the first 9 weeks I had lost 8 inches off my body. As someone who had previously focused on high-intensity cardio, I was impressed by the amazing results I achieved through weight training that incorporated my raising my heart rate. In as little as 45 minutes I was burning that same amount of calories as 45 minutes of running.

Geneva says: With Jennifer, I wanted to stress the importance of EATING at regular intervals and also understanding the effect that stress has on the body. I gave her guidelines to incorporate more nutritious foods into her day.

With the training, Jennifer was already a regular exerciser so that meant awe could progress quickly into the Next Level High Intensity Interval Training part of the program. I encouraged her to wear a Heart Rate monitor and it was really eye opening to see her Heart Rate and Calorie Burn go higher than when she was running! The beautiful thing about THAT is that with this type of training, you continue to experience caloric burn AFTER training. It’s what we call, “The Lovely after burn.”

I was so proud of Jennifer’s commitment to herself and to the program! I’m glad she made the decision to live better.
