I subscribe to the Arnold Schwarzenegger Pump Club newsletter, and we get daily blog posts about fitness, health, and personal development.  Technically, the newsletter is from the Arnold Pump Club App, but it functions as a daily blog for those of us who may not be members of the app but still want to be tapped into the Pump Club community.

Disclaimer: I am not being paid to promote this newsletter. I genuinely believe it is a valuable resource for health, fitness, and personal development!

It’s like having Arnold Schwarzenegger as your personal coach

The content for Arnold’s Pump Club is geared toward people seeking fitness and health advice from trusted sources. One of the newsletter’s strengths is that readers receive motivation from Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. The content isn’t just theoretical. Each week for the newsletter’s Motivational Monday, there is a call to action and an assignment (usually from Arnold) for readers to complete.

By writing directly to readers, Arnold is like your personal coach. This week, Arnold charged readers with the following assignment: eat fiber and protein at every meal; do resistance training for at least 30 minutes three days a week; and engage in movement, such as walking outside, for 10 minutes daily.

A Newsletter for everyone, no matter age, stage, or circumstance

This newsletter or blog is for fitness and wellness enthusiasts who want to go beyond Instagram posts or advice from social media influencers. Posts include scientific studies on popular supplements like creatine, as well as the latest research to provide proper context on common wellness topics that lack scientific backing on social media.

As a seven-time Mr. Olympia and bodybuilding champion who has preached the gospel of fitness for years, Arnold is trusted by the audience as a credible source of information on fitness and health. Add to that, his advice is very straightforward without gimmicks and quick fixes.

This newsletter/blog is also written for different demographics, such as women, older adults, cancer survivors, or beginners who may be looking for encouragement to help them hit their fitness and wellness goals. In his Motivational Monday blog, Arnold wrote that the Pump Club team, “will continue to share studies about all of these demographics to help you see that science shows your success is possible.”

The Positive Corner of the Internet

Arnold’s Pump Club and the newsletter are called the positive corner of the internet. I signed up for the newsletter at the beginning of the year because Arnold had a great social media post about going on a diet to escape toxic, negative news. As he said, much of social media has become filled with negativity, division, and toxic content, so this newsletter and blog are a place of positivity, inspiration, and community.

A community with inspiring personal stories

The Pump Club aims to be a community that supports people in their fitness and health goals. One of the commitments Arnold and the editor-in-chief, Adam, made to the audience is to share positive stories from members of The Pump Club who want to share them. This week, the story was about a member who wrote in that in 2024, he was diagnosed with a pancreatic tumor. He shared that he has regained 25 pounds since his numerous surgeries and treatments and has gotten his strength back by doing modified workouts in the Pump Club app.

A Village to keep you encouraged and moving forward

Fitness and wellness advice has become overwhelming and too broad. Arnold’s Pump Club keeps fitness and wellness advice simple and has also tapped into the need for social connection and community. As Arnold said in this week’s newsletter,” that’s why I wanted [Pump Club]  to be a village, not just a workout you do every day. That’s the magic.”
