When I started this journey 12 weeks ago I wasn’t in the best head space.  I was agitated, frustrated, and all worked up

I had to step back and re-evaluate some things that weren’t working.  In order for me to gain clarity I had to get still and I had to slow things down.

Over the past few weeks as I’ve worked through each of these Action Steps I’ve gained new perspective and new strategy for how to get things done.

Back in September when I started I had a scorched earth mentality.  I was ready to burn it all down because I wanted to accomplish my goals.

Now I see that would have NOT been in my best interest and really would have done a lot of long term damage.

Sometimes it’s good not to burn it all down.

Review and Revise

As I have said earlier one of the hardest things for me to do is to adjust and adapt to my strategies.

I have had to learn to review my direction and revise my strategy when things are not working to give me optimal results. I’ve had to do this both personally and professionally and each time it has been for the best.  My only regret is not doing it sooner.

It’s also important to adapt to the reality of our situation.  Sometimes this may mean making tough choices.  I know we all have our fantasies of how we think things should go, but there are times when we must face reality and adapt to the circumstances of what ism  and go from there.

Next week is our Final Week and it will be about counting your wins and looking at your results for the last 13 weeks!
