The Word HIIT gets abused a lot these days. Jumping around for an hour is not a HIIT workout. If you can do a HIIT workout for an hour then it’s more than likely not HIIT. If you can do it 5 days in a row, then it is more than likely not HIIT and you will end up hurt.
Most HIIT intervals are too long. I don’t believe in going more than 30 seconds.
This is a great workout when you’re short on time and getting back into the groove of things because you mix the HIIT with Incline walking (I usually like 3.0 speed/10.0 incline NO HOLDING ON) to work those glutes.
