Angela has experienced more of an even mood and isn’t experiencing highs and lows. She also is not experiencing the spikes in blood sugar and subsequent crashing.
Her clothes are fitting better and she now always eats breakfast
What worked for Angela
The accountability of having a coach was at the forefront of her mind. Angela is also competitive so it helped to have that challenge.
How she did it
Angela used the weekend to plan for the week by doing meal prep. By doing this, she knew what she was eating during the week and it was easier to keep on track.
There is no perfect
One thing I always stress with my clients is that there is no perfect and you don’t have to be perfect.
On Valentine’s Day, Angela enjoyed Red Velvet Cake and she didn’t beat herself up about it. The next day she was right back on track because she understood that she doesn’t have to be perfect and there is no perfect. She gave herself PERMISSION to enjoy the Red Velvet Cake and then move on.
Angela’s advice about Lifestyle Change
Planning makes a big difference Plan Something. Everyone can go for a walk. You don’t have to be perfect!
