One of my clients shared that she was starting the whole 30 program and so I decided to look into the program myself.  I ordered the book, It Starts with Food and I was once again reminded how much impact Nutrition has on our bodies.

From all of the research that I have been doing over these past two years regarding hormones and metabolism, I know that is having a healthy hormonal balance is CRUCIAL to metabolic efficiency.

This is what the diet pushers never say.  The QUALITY of our nutrition is more important than simply counting calories or worrying about the numbers on a scale.  You can be lean, losing weight, and totally unhealthy.  Trust me I was there.

This month I decided to do a case study on myself with this style of eating.  I want to restore hormonal balance and of course make this my healthiest year yet.

I definitely recommend this book to understand how much nutrition impacts your body.  The Whole 30 may not be right for you but I encourage you to understand more about what certain foods are doing to your body.
